Work with us

We are always keen to find new members of the XP-UK team - teachers and activity leaders both for the summer and the low season.

Summer 2025 sees us running our centre at Godolphin School, Salisbury from Sunday 6th July, with the first teaching day on Tuesday 8th July.

The centre will be open for three weeks.

Teachers

Teachers on our summer programmes are usually local to Salisbury, so that they can best showcase the city to our international students. We have created a very detailed English language and cultural syllabus and curated the teaching materials, so you'll be ready to go.

There are classes from 09:00 to 12:30 and lunch is provided for the teaching team. Teachers are not required to work the activity and excursion programme. Click on the picture below for the full role description and pay information.

Activity Leaders

As an activity leader you are central to ensuring the students have a great time. Ideally we would love to find young people with sports, arts and performing skills who would love to spend two or three weeks giving students from around the world a truly memorable experience.

Activity leaders are normally required to be on-site residential staff but we also have space for young people living locally.

For residential team members you will, as well as your fee, receive full board and lodging and be a key player in ensuring residential well-being of all the students.

XP-UK Summer Centres

The summer centre is a project to bring together students from around the world to learn much more about the UK and each other. The combination of classes, activities and excursions has been carefully constructed to enhance those opportunities.

Classes run in the mornings, with activities in the afternoons and evenings and full day trips to other major destinations take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
